Mer + Angel

The name Mer Angels came from two worlds I’ve always been drawn to. Mer means sea, it carries the spirit of mermaids, freedom, and the mystery of the ocean. Angel represents light, grace, and a kind of quiet strength.

Together, they create a balance I see in every woman: part siren, part angel. Wild but gentle, bold but elegant. Mer Angels is about celebrating that duality, the beauty of being both.

How it Began

Growing up in Thailand, the sea was always close. Not just in distance, but in spirit. I was surrounded by stories, rituals, and traditions that celebrated beauty in both subtle and powerful ways. From temple garlands woven with care to the way silk drapes and moves, I grew up seeing how culture and craft are tied to identity.

When I started Mer Angels, I wanted to bring those impressions with me — not just to design swimwear, but to tell stories. To me, a swimsuit is more than what you wear by the water; it’s a way to express confidence, heritage, and femininity.

Mer Angels became my way of weaving together two worlds I carry within me: the playful freedom of the sea, and the timeless elegance of tradition. It is for women who, like me, move between modern life and cultural roots, and who want to feel both powerful and beautiful in their own skin.
